Another Dinner at Bellini's

Last night, I went to Bellini's with a friend. We had caesar salad, seafood pasta, and anchovies pizza. Delicious!

First, we engaged in small talk. But soon, she started revealing that her marriage is on the rocks. For hours, she talked of her marital woes. She also talked about the problems of other people.

Before we ended, I told her that each of us have our own trials. Here I am - financially poor (many times, I don't even have transportation money), afflicted with cancer and other illnesses, and with no special someone.

God does not play favorites. He just wants us to keep trusting in Him.

Eating Out Again

Tonight, I went out with Jobert. First we went to Bagoong Club. Our second time to be there. He is on a diet so he did not eat rice and no meat. We shared the laing. He ate tuna belly. I ate binagoongan special and garlic rice. He had calamansi juice and I had my usual Coke Zero. We talked about confidential stuff. Ha ha. Since it's confidential, I cannot repeat the conversation here.

Jobert was about to bring me home when he said he is still too early for his next appointment. So we decided to go to Bellini's. He ordered red wine, I had Coke Zero, and we ate an appetizer with eggplant, tomatoes and cheese. (I didn't bother getting the name.)

When we were in the basement of the condo, Jobert's celphone was acting up so we had to fix the problem first. When everything was okay, I went down and said goodbye.

My dear friend Jobert. Hope he finds the love of his life.

Dining Out with Friends

I thought I didn't have work so I texted friends to either visit me or bring me out. He he.

Most texted back. So, most are coming over or will bring me out next week.

A friend at first said that he can't make it today. Turns out he cancelled his meeting so we could go out.

So, Felix fetched me. We went to...Bellini's again! I ordered seafood pasta, fettucine, oil-based instead of what I ordered the last time. We had appetizer but I forgot the name. And of course,
Coke Zero.

Bing-bing joined us after a while.

We talked about college days (they are part of my college barkada, kappa pi pi), old lovers, wedding days, work, present family life, politics, other current events.

My mom texted me not to stay up late. I feel like a sixteen year old! ha ha

----------

BTW, a friend and sometimes client made me write a questionnaire. I thought it would take me till tomorrow but I was able to finish way before I had to be fetched.

Bellini's

My friend, Sylvia, was supposed to visit me at the condo today. Instead, she invited me to eat out. She fetched me in the afternoon and we decided to go to Bellini's.

We ordered pesto spaghetti and seafoods pizza. I ordered Coke Zero. Yummy!

Sylvia is a batchmate in UP CBA. We talked about the past, present and future. We also talked about other batchmates and what has happened to them.

Then, we decided to organize a get-together with a few other batchmates this November 14. So, Sylvia immediately texted the other people and looks like its a go.

Funny, the last time I was in Bellini's, I was with another friend also named Sylvia. Both Sylvia's paid for the bill (as is usual when I go out with friends).

I had a nice time!
