Feeling Not So Good

I should be feeling good because a friend treated me to Teriyaki Boy and gave me perfume. But I felt sorry for her as she told me about her problems. Couldn't help but feel bad for her. She cried a number of times.

Then, a friend who owns a research agency was late in coming to our 3 pm meeting. She arrived almost 5 pm already. She brought Shakey's pizza (which was my dinner already). We computed our costs for the FGD and looks like we have to charge P15,000 more per group. Client is likely to not approve so that's okay. I suddenly have lost enthusiasm for the project...And I did not get the payment I was expecting.

I did a rush project today. Not confident that I did a good job.

So, altogether, not a good day today.

On the other hand, I should be thankful for what I ate at Teriyaki Boy - salmon sashimi, chicken teriyaki, ebi tempura, miso soup, and yogurt with bananas. Thank You, Lord, for such blessings!

Japanese Food!

I waited for an hour for my friend, Rexy. She promised to treat me out for my birthday (a belated treat).

It was well worth the wait! We went to Teriyaki Boy at Gateway. We ordered sukiyaki, hagedashi tofu, tuna sashimi, chicken teriyaki, and ebi tempura. When the waiter said "2 Gohan" I asked, what's Gohan? It meant rice. Ha ha.

Food trip! I texted mom to ask what she wanted. She said either chicken teriyaki or ebi tempura. So we ordered ebi tempura for her.

Rexy brought me home and even up to our condo. How kind of her! I feel so blessed to have such generous friends.

Today, I worked on three reports. All are quite easy.

Teriyaki Boy with Jobert

Today, I waited for hours for Jobert. He said he will pick me up "after lunch". Well, after lunch turned out to be almost 5 pm!

But I used the time to pray the rosary, to text, to chat, to go to the bathroom, to drink medicine, to observe people coming in and going out...and most of all, to grow in patience!

It was all worth the wait! We first exchanged gifts. I gave him the massager I bought for him. He gave me all sorts of stuff from Taiwan - small notebooks, coloring materials, a blouse, a pair of slippers.

We went to Teriyaki Boy in Gateway. We used the elevator so I didn't have to do much walking.

I ordered kani salad and Coke Zero. Later, I also ordered ebi tempura with rice.

Jobert and I wrote two poems. One is entitled, "Kapayapaan", our first Tagalog poem. Then, we wrote "Joy".

Back in the car, we continued to talk about ourselves. Then we prayed together.

Such a joyful time, well spent!
