This blog aims not only to make people laugh, but also to inspire others, instill positive values...in short, to make this world a little better, a little happier. This blog is meant to bless (in my own little way) all those who read it. It's my way of saying "I love you more and more".
You might be wondering what "Plarked" means. Well, I just coined the term by combining "played" and "worked".
I kept playing various word games online. I discovered a new game, "Scrabble Sprint" at pogo.com. It's fun!
I think I shall continue exploring various games to challenge my mind.
And I worked while listening to songs in YouTube.

Mom attended a party - a house blessing in Cavite. There were three lechons but of course, she was embarrased to bring home some. But she was bold enough to go to the kitchen and ask for a plate of lechon with her choice parts and the crunchy skin.
I just ate chicharon and tapsilog.

Everyday, I learn something new. I just love computers! I love the Internet! There is so much I can enjoy and find out. And to think that my son says I am poor in technology. Ha ha.
But even after my technician came over and "fixed" things, the same message appeared. "We encountered a problem and have to close. Sorry for the inconvenience." I thought he already killed the virus but apparently it has affected the system. Oh Lord, please don't let anything serious happen to my computer. I hope my technician-friend will be able to do something about the problem. I am waiting for him to come back today.
So, today, instead of working on my report template, I had a choice of watching a DVD, watching/listening to YouTube or writing. I opted for the third one. I continued writing my book entitled, "What I Think Heaven Is Like" or something to that effect. Ha ha. I had fun writing the first few chapters. I have already written the introduction and the first chapter. So I worked on chapters 2, 3 and 4. I am aiming for 10 chapters all in all for a nice round number.
You might wonder, who would want to read a book with a title like that? Why not? Don't you find it intriguing? It might be presumptuous of me to think of heaven when people might ask, how sure are you of getting there in the first place? Well, I am confident of God's love for me. That is what I am sure of. So, for my part, I am trying my best to be as good as I can be in order to deserve heaven. I am saved by the love of God. And that love makes me love God back and love others, too.
Yup, those are the delicious things I ate today. Turon for merienda. Barbecue and spaghetti for dinner, care of my sister.
I talked to my client via Skype today regarding significance testing and the data tables. Turns out she had expected the data processor to be the one to do the sigtesting. So, she is getting another DP supplier to do it for me. Yehey!
My computer is acting up. It is sending messages like "we encountered a problem...". Looks like I have a virus. I have asked my friend-technician to come tomorrow to check my computer. I can't do without it so he'd better fix it.
I just love my computer! I can't let a day go by without turning it on and doing a host of things such as...
...check my Yahoo inbox and see who has emailed me. I get jokes/funny emails, inspirational stories/quotations, informative accounts, messages from Facebook, photos from family and friends, updates/communication from my various Yahoo groups and so on.
...read interesting stuff in the Yahoo site and other websites
...get my daily Bible video reflection at www.usccb.org
...surf the net for whatever interests me - writing, games, movies, photos, self-improvement, religion, etc.
...write in this blog
...analyze data and make powerpoint presentations
...write poems, books, story concepts, scripts, etc.
And so on and so forth. I feel so lucky to be around in this age of information, the Internet and the computer. There is so much to learn and no room for boredom!
Hi I'm Nimia. Just turned 50. Single again. Not desperately seeking (but secretly longing). Notorious for my corny jokes. My mission in life is to be a joyful instrument of God's love and a loving instrument of God's joy through TAWASSS - teaching, appreciating, writing, affirming, speaking and serving with a smile.
