Yesterday and Today

Yesterday, I was busy formulating two questionnaires based on drafts prepared by client. I offered to be present in the next meeting to discuss the project.

Yesterday, mom went to the hospital to undergo a citiscan...Today, she got the results but we could not understand the findings. At least, we did not see the scary words "tumor" or "cancer". The word "cyst" though was there. I plan to google all the terms.

Today, I continued lifting excerpts from "Beyond Disruption". I also played Book Worm and listened to YouTube. I discovered a super talented young guitarist by the name of Sungha Jung. He's great!

Yesterday, my friend discussed a possible quantitative and qualitative study. Today, she said that both projects were approved. Yey.

Here is the blogsite you might find funny: (http://www.dslservice-providers.com/blog/blog/2011/10-corny-jokes-about-really-fast-things.html).

God is great!

When the Well is Dry...

I said in an earlier post that I'm craving for kare-kare. Well, my caring mom bought kare-kare from Max's last Tuesday and it was good. (But she was disappointed because she was expecting oxtail or "buntot".)

Just when you think that the well has dried up, water comes out.

So today, I had lunch with a client-friend at Banapple along Katipunan. I had corn chowder soup and some kind of pasta. He had ribs with hickory sauce.

Anyway, he offered me a consultancy job. I just have to name my price.

Great.

And today, a project came in from a research agency. The only thing is it's super rush. Due tomorrow! Ha ha. It's a good thing I'm used to working fast.

The only problem is I have a dinner date tomorrow and I will be fetched at 5:30 pm.

Oh, I will work things out. Maybe my friend and I will just order food for delivery and eat in the condo.

I feel much better already.

Miscellaneous Stuff

I have been working on my new project. I was eager to do it, I was able to finish the excel file already. Now, I am starting the report in powerpoint presentation.

I also finished my other short project for another client yesterday.

I've said it before, I say it again: I love being a marketing researcher/analyst!

----------
I just read a write-up about Pacquiao, a commentary on his fight against Margarito. I admire Manny for his humility and kindness of heart. What a hero!

----------
I'm already in the book of Psalms. Some of them, I am familiar with. I have finished reading the book of Job and was inspired by it.

Clearly, no book can compare with the Bible. It is full of wisdom and makes one have faith in God.

---------
Today, I ate mojos for breakfast.

For lunch, we had dinuguan, lumpiang togue and inihaw na liempo.

For merienda, we ate suman.

Thank God for food!

Work and Play

Work came in late today. So it's a working night for me!

On Friday, I will be meeting with a client on another project.

It's great to be working again!

--------
I have been playing scrabble in FB and my average is now 47%. Yehey. Slowly but surely I want to go beyond 50%.

Yesterday, I watched "Picture Perfect" starring Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Bacon. I like the romantic comedy because it's about honesty.

Tomorrow, I will be having lunch with some friends. It's bonding time.

--------
A little bit of humor:

On the day I gave birth, I went to the Delgado Clinic to choose a room. I just chose a small room to save on money.

I put under general anesthesia because I gave birth by Caesarian section. So, when I woke up, I was already inside my room but a much bigger one than the one I chose.

My first words? Instead of inquiring about my baby, I asked, "Magkano 'to?" (How much is this?)
